The acronym STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. STEAM education is the academic activity of creating and transacting the trans-disciplinary curricula along with encouraging project based learning drawing strength from each subject area.

C: Creation of synergy between visual arts, natural sciences, maths and applied sciences leading to innovations, development of critical-creative thinking skills and holistic learning

D: Developing skills among researchers and educators of STEAM areas both for analytical skills as well as the visual skills of sketching, drawing, model making, designing, cartooning, video-graphing, creating graphics, dual coding, fine arts and performing arts
