Auditory-rhythmic learning of physics has both cognitive and non-cognitive benefits

The 'Musical-Rhythmic Intelligence' pertains to sensing rhythmic and tonal patterns of speech, singing, musical notes or human voice and make use of them in learning content of a discipline. It can be done by linking learning and rhythmic intelligence content acquisition for long-term memory. Best way is to create non-poems and recite them with rhythmic tonal quality and graceful movement of the body, gestures and expressions.

My experience informs that most students like the auditory-musical-rhythmic that incorporates variations in pitch and rhythm as a learning method since it has both cognitive and non-cognitive benefits for students.

Here is a non-poem on 'momentum' concept of physics which students of grade nine enjoyed reciting after concept's content-based learning.

MOMENTUM: RHYTHMIC NON-POEM

Called is

The quantity of matter

In an object -

Mass! Mass!! Mass!!!

~*~

Likewise, called is

The quantity of motion

In an object –

Momentum! Momentum!!

~*~

Mathematically,

Measurably, the momentum is

The product of mass ‘n velocity

Momentum equals

Mass into velocity

‘m into v’

~*~

The rate of change of

Momentum is -

Force! Force!! Force!!!
