BE NOTHING, WE ARE BUT A NAUGHT: NON-POEM

Lord Buddha said that humility was 'being nothing' or living an utterly 'unselfish life'. According to him, "To live a pure unselfish life, one must count nothing as one's own in the midst of (apparent) abundance." He equated being nothing to Nirvana.

“Nothingness is the fragrance of the beyond. It is the opening of the heart to the transcendental,” stated Osho in one of his discourses

According to noted thinker and philosopher J Krishnamurti, "As long as that (time-thought) movement exists, there is fear of being nothing. But when one really sees the illusion of becoming something, to see there is nothing, this becoming is endless time-thought and conflict, there is the ending of the movement that is the psyche, which is time-thought." He adds, "In nothingness, there is everything, energy. The ending is a beginning."
