The self-published on-line post in the forms of write-ups, pictures, GIFs and micro-videos and other media is called blogging.

Initially, blog publishing was in the form of diary-writing type of posts with frequent up-dates for the regular engagement of readers including mutual conversations to know more or add details as a simple by lively website. However, a blog allows conversations, queries and participative learning as compared a website which is one-way affair.
