"contextually designed board games for sight vocabulary building with six words and two dices with visual and text codes in English played by four children with a worksheet to be filled move-wise, has both cognitive and non-cognitive skill development efficacy," says Dr Lalit Kishore whose paper "Literacy Board Games for School Beginners improve their Visual discrimination" [2} was accepted for Annual Conference of National Academy of Psychology held in 2008 at IIT, Guwahati.

Kishore (2008) through an action research study found that board games with six-words and two-dices , namely, visual dice and word dice, not only develop sight vocabulary but also visual discrimination and visual-motor coordination skills among the school beginners. The study also recommends use of worksheets to record the results of every throw of the dice for a codification of the experience
