Here is a seven line free verse poem which is more suitable to poeticizing disciplinary content as experimented by me as a classroom practitioner and action researcher. Such verses do not follow the rules as well as they do not any rhyme but can have slight rhythm through language arts or self-designed artistic expression.
At times free verses are called modern form of poetry though they have around for a few hundreds of years.
Here, I tried my hand on blank verse that contrasts autocracy with dictatorship. It is a seven-line blank verse with language pattern as artistic expression
FREE VERSE
Autocracy
Personality cult system of government; disguised single person rule
Ruling country by whims and fancies; suppressing difference of opinion; treating oneself above law and oppressing those who don't tow line
When leader's entrusted governance becomes a license or autocracy, we often head towards dictatorship
Possessing absolutes powers; eliminating opponents; controlling individual lives of citizens and civil society
No rights and freedoms; personal rule like a tyrant monarch
Dictatorship
