Deschool and reschool society for equitable quality education: A poem
Schools now whisper, tales untrue,
Of golden doors, for just a few.
But knowledge blooms for every seed,
Not just for those who plant the creed.
Our schools are gardens choked with weeds,
Of bias, born of selfish deeds.
Let’s pull them out, with tender hand,
And build a future, understand.
With open hearts, and eyes so bright,
We'll share the sun, and share the light.
Unlearn the lies, the whispered fears,
And dry the hurt, with happy tears.
Let equity lead, 'n love ignite,
A fire in the darkest night.
For every child, a chance to grow,
A world of justice, start to sow.
