Earth Hour Plea: A Poem
A simple switch, a darkened light,
A message clear, with all our might.
To heal the Earth, our warming home,
No longer wander, lost and lone.
Fair deals we need, a helping hand,
Across the globe, a promised land.
We're on a path, a fiery track,
Must turn around, there's no turning back.
Green growth we seek, for all to share,
Clean energy, beyond compare.
A world renewed, a brighter gleam
A future safe, a waking dream.
This way we go, hand held in hand,
To heal our Earth, across the land.
Let darkness fall, a moment's grace,
To light the way, for all the race
.
