Finding true freedom: A poem

You find freedom when you cast away

The weight of wanting more than what you need,

When ego's roar softens, peace takes root,

A stillness blooms, unchained from the creed.

You find freedom when senses lose their hold,

When fleeting joys no longer emit rays.

A life refreshed — not sterile, but alive,

Released from cravings that once ruled your days.

A purpose rises in the quiet grace,

A mindful light, unbound in time and space.

You find freedom when choices are so bright,

A heart beats clear, aligned with what is right,

Beyond the glitter, past the shallow show.

You find your strength when shadows of the past

Are let undone, embracing what is now.

Desires fade, their chains seem not to last,

A realm of calmness where your journey flows,

In every breath, a chance for bliss to grow.
