Five CASTME Awards for 2025 to be announced in December and mentioned at ASE Conference 2026

The Commonwealth Association of Science, Technology and Mathematics Educators (CASTME) and the Association for Science Education (ASE) are closely linked, with the Findel-CASTME Awards announced at the ASE Annual Conference, informs an AI search. In 2026, the UK's largest science education conference is going to be held at the University of Nottingham's University Park Campus, Nottingham from 8 to 10 January.
Findel-CASTME Awards are prestigious recognition by the CASTME to honour innovative STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) projects that connect learning to real-world social issues, often in partnership with Findel Education, promoting lifelong STEM relevance and community engagement across Commonwealth nations.
CASTME, the UK-based organization that connects STEM educators across the Commonwealth partners with Findel International Education Resources and Philip Harris to sponsor three awards that include the Findel CASTME Education Award, Protect Our Planet Award, and Community Award. The awards celebrate outstanding projects by teachers, students, and institutions using creativity, integration and practical application of STEM.
Two more awards have been introduced in 2025, namely, the CASTME STEM & Literacy Award and CASTME Ling Educational Engineering Award for educational practitioners and emergent young engineers.
