If we want to be happy,

And see the world smile bright,

Learn to feel for others,

Make compassion bright guiding light.

Happiness we all desire,

A peaceful world we crave,

Start with kindness in your heart,

The joy you give, you save.

A gentle heart, a listening ear,

Compassion stops all hate and fear.

When understanding fills each soul,

Peace takes root and makes us whole.

O, Compassion, choose you now,

Replace the war, forget the vow.

Of hate and hurt, of fear and pain,

Let love and peace forever reign.
