Academic use of rapping
Teachers can use rapping to teach language skills or vocabulary acquistion of any subject since rap lyrics and music heavily relies soley on rhyme and rhythm. Some teachers have used rap music to teach vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation of terminology of different academic disciplines including the language of mathematics and science.
Academic rap songs, when used as non-music use music, the lyrics require the text of an academic subject to be musicalized with the elements of language arts, slant rhyme amd spoken word art.
