Google marks Swedish singing sensation Tim Bergling's 32nd birthday with video doodle

"Whether blaring from speakers of a music festival mainstage or into the headphones of millions of listeners worldwide, the music of Swedish superstar DJ, producer, songwriter, and humanitarian Tim Bergling—known best by his stage name Avicii—is widely considered to have forever altered the trajectory of the Pop genre. Today’s video Doodle, set to one of his most iconic tracks “Wake Me Up,” celebrates his 32nd birthday and honors his legacy as one of the first artists to elevate electronic music to mainstream global success," wrote Google on it website to describe the video doodle on Tim Bergling's birth anniversary.

Tim Bergling (8 September 1989 – 20 April 2018) – known more by stage name Avicii - was a 'Swedish DJ, remixer, record producer, musician, and songwriter' all rolled into one, who died young at the age of 28 due to mental and physical health related problems, but his music took the world by storm. Despite bad health, he continued performing live to keep up his public persona leading to mental imbalance and suicide.

According to his family tribute, "He really with thoughts about ‘Meaning’ struggled, Life, Happiness. He could now not go on any longer. He wanted to find peace. Tim was not made for the business machine he found himself in; he was a sensitive guy who loved his fans but shunned the spotlight. Tim, you will forever be loved and sadly missed. The person you were and your music will keep your memory alive. We love you."
