Knowledge age demands being analytical and innovative: A poem

The age of knowing, bright and bold,
A story new, for us to mould.
With ready mind, and spirit keen,
Innovation's light, a vibrant scene.
Though grandest gain and wealth we chase,
True joy eludes, without a space
For quiet thought, a peaceful soul,
To make our inner being whole.
For shadows fall, where sight is dim,
Failure's sting, a mournful hymn.
From not-knowing, troubles rise,
A root of sorrow, in our eyes.
So pause and ponder, think it through,
Before you act, what will you do?
Seek out the core, the deepest spring,
Let intellect its clear light bring.
To know the world, is know yourself,
Beyond the fleeting, outer shelf.
For clinging tight to what we own,
Can bind the heart, and make it groan.
Let go the matter, light and free,
And move to what will truly be.
