Kurukshetra University to host the 10th International Gita Conference November End

the 10th International Gita Conference is being organized by Kurukshetra University in collaboration with Kurukshetra Development Board (KDB) from 24th to 26th November, 2025. The theme of the conference is 'Swadharma in the Bhagwad Gita: Inspiration for Duty, Peace, and Harmony'

According to the organizers of the conference, multidisciplinary participation is solicited wherein the scholarly contributions presenting their perspectives, opinions and research findings on the theme/sub-theme of the conference.

Objectives of this year's seminar are as follows

1. To explore the concept of Swadharma as a universal principle of ethical responsibility.

2. To examine how Gita’s teachings on detachment can contribute to mental health and inner peace in modern societies.

3. To highlight the role of spiritual-philosophical wisdom in fostering intercultural harmony and global peace.

4. To connect ancient wisdom with contemporary challenges of governance, education, and social coexistence.

5. To demonstrate practical applications of the Gita’s teachings for leadership, governance, education and community welfare.

6. pTo Provide a forum for early-career researchers and doctoral students to present original work and receive feedback.
