Learn to create GIF from am image with its flipped image: Tips for a beginner

These days, I am trying to enhance my visual intelligence. With the editing and GIF option available on my mobile camera. I tried my hand in learning and practicing this option. This is my first trial to get familiar with the technique.

GIF is acronym of Graphics Interchange Format of images and is pronounced as /dʒɪf/

GIF is defined as a lossless format for image files that supports both animated and static images.

Created GIF: An Example

Here is a GIF created of group photograph of the students of KVTV in late 1980s

Method used was as follows

  • Select an image

  • Flip the image and save it

  • Do to edit section put 'indication' marks on left end, middle and right end of the image respectively and save each image. Now you have three images

  • Now flip three images - together six images in will look as shown in the collage

  • Select the screen-shot images in a sequence as shown the collage

  • Run the six images through GIF option

  • Adjust the delay until the speed of your GIF looks alright

  • Run and save the created GIF

It will work as GIF-video with a simple animation of the 'indication' mark
