A soul, quite determined to grow,

With self-insight, planted a seed to sow.

Reflecting inside,

With conscious stride,

A self-made discovery, watch it glow!

A life lived for pleasure's quick thrill,

Leaves a soul with a gaping, dark chill.

The Devil's own game,

Destroys heart and name,

So build your own lamp, with pure will.
