Meri Vani: Book of profound mini poems in Hindi

In the present times when social media has become an integral part of life, people are creating short, mini, nano or micro poems in free verse style to covey feelings and ideas quickly and in quipped ways.

The book of mini-poems 'Meri Vani' by Ram Bhagat Negi of Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh which was presented to Indrajit L Panjabi - a lover and promoter of literature - who appreciated the creativity of the author.

The book in the print media format is worthy of reading and reciting poems in institutions and should be welcome addition to the institutional libraries besides popular reading.

My experience of working with diverse children informs short poems are most suitable for vocabulary building and language development for children across the ability range.

During a teacher training such poems were recited for use in the classroom for proper language development and verbal intelligence of the renderer and the listener.

These types of short poems are suitable persons for special needs. The discussion on the message of the such poems can lead to cognitive development also.
