COUPLETS
The soul, a light that cannot fade,
The body's form, a fleeting shade.
The spirit's truth, forever bright,
The flesh wears out in day 'n night.
Body fades 'n dies, it's a fleeting show,
The skin wrinkles, as seasons ebb 'n flow.
But deep within, a light that knows no end,
A steady flame shines eternally, as a friend.
This mortal form, a fragile, borrowed shell,
Will crumble into dust, like a silent knell.
Soul truth remains, untouched by mortal strife,
The soul's true self, eternal, vibrant life.
We have to learn and recall our soulfulness
A relate to body and senses less and less.
