Integration of educational science and spiritual science: Making spiritual development contextual in an era of science and technology

In the present era of science and technology, all knowledge areas, academic disciplines and subjects are vying to become science including education, management, social studies and spirituality. Any academic discipline or accumulated knowledge area becomes a science when it is integrated with scientific methods, processes, techniques, practices and principles..
Currently, all knowledge areas are growing exponentially by getting into science-mode of research, experimentation and innovation by incorporating the characteristics of science such as objectivity, logical consistency, measurement, process-basing, critical-creative analysis, inferring, verification and dynamism.
If one goes by the foregoing, the following model for spiritual development emerges which integrates ‘educational science’ and ‘spiritual science’
