Ode to Guru Ravidas Jayanti

A day for love, a day for light,

For Guru Ravidas, shining bright.

He taught us all, with gentle hand,

That all are equal in this land.

No high, no low, just hearts so true,

Kindness and peace in all we do.

He fought for right, he broke the chains,

Where caste divided, caused such pains.

We sing his hymns, we say his prayers,

Undoing our deadly worldly snares.

For unity, and selfless giving,

In Guru's words, we find our living.

A world of peace, where all unite,

A casteless land, where we never fight.

So let us vow, on this great day,

To walk his path, and light the way.
