Addressing the conclave on 'School Education in 21st Century', Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stated that he was 'fully committed' to the National Education Policy-2020 and assured the audience and the participants that would like it to be implemented 'with political will' and 'fully'.
He urged all those associated with education, including caregivers, to get directly involved to make NEP-2020 a success and added, "I am fully committed to it and I am with all of you.”
However, critics point out that the NPE-2020 does not have the elements of liberal education that empowers school students and educational functionaries to address the issues of diversity, complexity, inclusion and equity.
