Practice Ganesha Mudra Yoga for digestion and stress busting if you are over 50 years of age


Ganesha Mudra Yoga - the yoga posture is named after Lord Ganesha, who is deemed to be the remover of obstacles and bringing success in life. The poture uses the sitting pose of Lord Ganesha with hands poised as giving blessing and holding a bowl with Modak Sweets.


This yoga can be done by people over 50 years of age even after meals like Veerasana done by young people. Not only it helps in improving digestion but also Use it relieve you daily life stress.


Ganesha Mudra Yoga done Step by Step as illustrated by the GIF video.


Step 1


Sit in squaring position of Sukhasana


Step 2


Open your feet and bring them forward bent at knees and feet parallel to each other


Step 3


Bring up right hand up bent in blessing pose fingers.


Step 4


Raise your left hand and mend it as if you are holding a bowl


Reverse the hand poses to make it a dynamic yoga.


After you have masters the four steps and transitions, deepen the yoga posture with in-breath, holding the breath and breath-out actions. Or sit in the posture for five minutes.
