SHORT NOTE ON PRAYER
Prayer is a friendly conversation with God, allowing you to share your feelings, express gratitude, seek assistance, or apologize, whether vocally or silently in your heart. Engaging in daily prayer fosters a loving dialogue that can take place anywhere. A prayer of thanks is meant to show appreciation for the good things in life; a prayer of request seeks help for yourself or others; a confession prayer involves acknowledging your wrongdoings and asking for forgiveness, while a praise prayer focuses on telling God how amazing He is.
The language used in prayer often incorporates respectful, intimate, or formal expressions aimed at conveying reverence and closeness to God, frequently using unique or old-fashioned pronouns like "thee," "thou," and "thy" to enhance the solemnity of the moment. Ultimately, prayer is about genuine communication and building a close relationship, rather than adhering to a specific set of words.

A POEM ON PRAYER
A chat with God, so easy and free,
A friendly talk, just you and He.
To say "Thank you" for sunshine and rain,
For good things felt, erasing all pain.
To ask for help, a whispered plea,
For strength and hope, for you and me.
To say "I'm sorry," deep inside,
When wrong we've done, and tried to hide.
To praise His name, so bright and strong,
To tell of love that lasts so long.
It's not the words, so grand and old,
But honest heart, a story told.
Each day we meet, in quiet space,
A loving talk, a gentle grace,

A PRAYER OFFERING EXPERIENCE ON RAM NAVAMI
O Lord Rama, the embodiment of virtue, I bow before Thee with deep humility, my heart filled with gratitude. Thank Thee, Raghunath, for Thine compassionate nature that forgives my mistakes, allowing me to learn, and for the strength that protects me from harm. I am grateful for the teachings Thou have shared about the significance of righteousness, duty, and the pursuit of truth for a soulful existence.
I am thankful to Janaki Vallabha for bringing peace to my restless mind and spirit. O Lord, I ask for Your infinite love and ever-present spirit to dwell in my heart. Thou art merciful, O my Lord, I offer myself to Thee and express my gratitude for Thine divine grace, now and forever. My spirit will ever take inspiration from Thine, I promise. Amem! Om Shantih!
