The spiritualist-driven spiritual engineering reverse model creates methodological conflicts between the empirical aspects of engineering and the subjective nature of spiritualist claims. This is particularly evident among spiritualists who often rely on engineering metaphors, despite lacking any real understanding of engineering principles. At best, these practices serve as temporary relaxation methods, offering spiritual experiences through meditation, insights into levels of metaphysical consciousness, and life lessons derived from ancient texts.

However, there's a significant issue with charlatanism, indoctrination, exploitation, and misguidance, especially concerning female participants. The absence of a clear, verifiable baseline for participants through a pre-test renders the process and its purported outcomes unclear. The reverse model suffers from an engineering category error, as the empirical framework of engineering is absent in the non-empirical realm of spiritual belief systems, which are often characterized by subjectivity and dependence on leaders.
