In the digital era, stick drawings have once again gained significance due to the emergence, use of clip art, logo art, design art, icon art, symbol art along the importance of dual coding and art-integrated learning as a pedagogical tools.
For teachers both for on-line and off-line teaching, use of stick drawings is a quick way of illustrating concepts comes handy as most learner are visual-verbal learners, more so the children with learning disabilities or differently abled children as they are called now.
I feel that all kids should be taught stick drawing and diagram making through successive stick figure drawing for readiness to art-integrating learning. For drawing visual codes for objects and action-words can be good way to move towards inclusive education.
