Spiritual Pedagogy Poem: Educating a Restive Mind to Intellect to Wisdom to Self and God Realization Inspired by the Bhagavad Gita

Our mind fleets, wanders - wild ‘n free,

But hold it close, for you to see.

Teach it gently, and day by day,

To just listen, in proactive way.

Let it build thought, clear and new,

Not just copy, but see what’s true.

For every lesson, sharp and bright,

Learning shines with inner light.

Think beyond, the surface deep,

Secrets hidden, it can keep.

Mind transforms, a tool so keen,

Intellect, a discerning scene.

Train this wisdom, firm and bright,

To stand so steady, day and night.

No more shaken, calm and vast,

A quiet strength, designed to last.

Joy and sorrow, gain and loss,

Across life's river, it won't toss.

World's conning, but passing art,

Does not sway the learning heart.

Deep within, the Spirit calls,

Supreme truth, beyond all walls.

See the One, in everything,

Universal joy, it brings.

Then with God, you ever blend,

A timeless union, without end.

This journey deep, from mind to soul,

Is true Yoga, making whole.
