Spiritualize education: A short note and a decastich poem
A short note
There is a necessity to spiritualize education by establishing a robust philosophical and psychological foundation. In a rapidly evolving technological and materialistic world, there is an urgent need for balance; we must equally prioritize classroom instruction that focuses on spiritual intelligence to achieve equilibrium. It is essential to move away from conditioning influenced by materialistic and religious dogmas and doctrines.
The aim of education should be to incorporate human values, ethical awareness, and the meaning of life into students' learning experiences, fostering their development into more holistic, resilient, and socially responsible individuals. Mindful learning, which involves self-learning with self-discipline, should be implemented alongside practices such as self-awareness, meditation, contemplation, and self-reflection. We must encourage self-awareness, well-being, a stronger sense of non-physical identity, and a cosmic connection through educational practices.
A poem
Forget the dogmas, old 'n cold,
A tale often bought and sold.
Instead, look within your heart,
Where life's meaning plays its part.
Meditate daily, still 'n deep,
Mindfulness secrets, you'll keep.
Self-reflection, a calm art,
To know yourself, right from start.
What's the purpose? What makes you whole?
A deeper knowing, in the soul.
