Strip boards for children with learning disability for playing single to in four-some groups

My experience of working with children with special needs and those with learning disabilities at Disha in Jaipur and with bridge school girl of Pehchan Shalas of CULP, reveal that strip boards are easy to make, store and playable singly and in small groups.

They can be played with cubical and pyramid-type dices. The strip boards have both cognitive and non-cognitive benefits of acquiring coordination skills, social skills, attentiveness training and fine motor training.

The inset picture shows learning of six-words through some educators recommend the three-use at a time for children with learning disabilities.

For cognitive learning an accompanying worksheet should be designed.
