Swami Vivekananda's Neo-Vedanta Philosophy: A Poem

To realize the divine, so grand 'n bright,

First look within, find your own light.

Believe in you, your heart, your soul,

Then God's great story can unfold.

Turn inward now, let thoughts take flight,

Cleanse the mind with gentle might.

Meditation's quiet grace,

Reflect yourself in time and space.

Live every moment, calm and deep,

Self-knowledge then, you'll surely reap.

God-knowledge follows, hand in hand,

A clearer path across the land.

The world around, a teacher true,

To educate the soul anew.

Nature's beauty, lesson clear,

To quell all doubt and conquer fear.

The best of worlds, where truth takes hold,

Self-realized, brave and bold.

Applied to life, a guiding star,

Reaching for what's near and far.

Without this knowing, deep inside,

And love for all, a constant tide,

We wander lost, in shadows deep,

A slumbering soul, that cannot weep.

A nation thrives, when light shines free,

Education's wings, for all to see.

Wisdom's touch, on every face,

Intelligence, enriching every place.
