Teachers can easily learn to create micro-videos for use for both on-line and off-line teaching

With mobile camera becoming handy and on-line learning being the new norm, teachers are needed to use micro-videos as short instructional videos that focus on teaching a single concept or a narrow topic without much explanation.

For introducing a topic or a concept, teachers can a 'one-off micro-video' of six second an instance will do. However, for more complex concepts, teachers can create a series of micro-videos which has the following two main advantages.

  • Making the content easier to attend to with proper attention span

  • Providing control over the pace of learning

Thus, a micro-video is a short video that lasts from 6 seconds to one minute to work as micro-content presentation related to single instance or concept.
