In Patna, 350th Prakash Parv celebrations of Guru Gobind Singhji Sahib was observed in big way at city's Gandhi Maidan on January 4 in which Prime Minister Narender Modi also participated.
"Delighted to be a part of 350th Prakash Parv celebrations of Guru Gobind Singh ji in Patna today," the PM tweeted.
It is reported that the Prime Minister participated in several events at Gandhi Maidan, where makeshift Gurudwara was set up and Holy Gurugranth Sahib for the celebrations that lasted for weeks in Patna.
The event was be marked with the release special commemorative stamps on 'Prakash Parv' of the Tenth Sikh Guru who was born in Patna.
Not only the PM Modi, but Bihar Governor Ram Nath Kovind, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, Punjab CM Prakash Singh Badal were also in Patna for the event.
Some prominent Union Minsters such as Ravi Shankar Prasad and Ram Vilas Paswan and other participated in the 'Prakash Parv' celebrations in Patna today.
