It is said that macro photography can be one of the most satisfying types of picture making skill with a smartphone at home or within the room of your stay if a travelling or touring.
With some experimentation and practice, one can take reasonable macro pictures of small still subjects with a smartphone with the following tips and guidelines
Useful tips
Select the subject of macro photography and light it up well
Zoom in the lens to its maximum to get as much magnification as possible
Use a flash when light is low
Use a firm camera grip
Get your camera to manual focus or by tapping the screen
Move yourself or the camera into position if using a tripod
Take a few pictures and edit for impact
