Digitally edited & enhanced visual artwork brings credit to Lalit Kishore from Art House

Jaipur-based educator and researcher, Dr Lalit Kishore, who has been working in the areas of visual intelligence and applied arts for the last three years, has been awarded by the Art House in the areas of digital art. He had been using the techniques of digital editing and enhancements using the options provided by the smartphone camera (See inset pictures)

Dr Kishore has the following ideas and tips to share for the beginners.

Non-digital artworks are can turn into digitally-enhanced painting or sketch when their photographs are edited or enhanced on digital platform of computers or smart phones with some available or uploaded software.

Even simple applications related to the following adjustments can result in the digital enhancement of a photographed of artwork

-Brightness
-Contrast
-Sharpness 
-Colour balance or hues

Such applications result in enhanced image of the artwork on a surface such as paper or canvas for posting on the internet or sharing on digital devices such as mobile phone.

Some Smartphone cameras' editing software even have the options such neon, thermal and HDR, which can be tried to enhance the quality of quickly done artwork including minimal drawing.
