Use micro poems and doodle art drawing for children with learning disabilities

It has been found that that children with learning disabilities (Dyslexia, dysgraphia asnd dyscalculia) have a recall problem and learn better through micro-learning methods.


The conventional rhymes and stereotype screen display of action poems to children with learning disabilities are curse on them since the enhance their language learning deficit since they are disadvantaged position as compared to normal children of any age. Adaptation of learning material leads to better locomotion of children in language learning.


A child had seen a dragon cartoon movie at home but could narrate since the visual experience was not converted into learning. Specially, children with dyslexia, enjoy visuals, but use of on-line learning or showing the screen based still or motion pictures worsen their language-based learning disability.


Micro poems (Six-word poems) can work as micro-learning based educational (education therapy) tool for language learning.



The following protocol was used for transaction of micro-poem in inset picture with positive effects.


-Modeled drawing of stick drawing of dragon on slate by the teacher -Doodle decoration of the drawing -Creating a chart of the poem with 12 words -Word-wise echo speaking using a point-and-say method with phonic aptness -Echo-reciting of poem 3-4 times -Reinforcing vocabulary of nouns in poems with flash cards -Reciting the poem a few times (3-6 times)
