Wealth's Dangerous Conceit: Micro-Poems
HAIKU
Pride of wealth's is sinful
Let it not get better of you
Keep far from its lure!
AI HAIKU
Gold gleams, heart grows hard,
Sinful pride then takes its hold,
Turn away, be free.
LIMERICK
A rich man, with pockets so deep,
Thought gold was the promise to keep.
But pride, like a vine,
So darkly entwined,
His soul was left empty inside.
CINQUAIN
Wealth,
Shining bright,
A tempting, gilded cage,
Its lure can blind the humble heart,
Sinful.
COUPLETS
Possessions grand, a tempting sight,
But pride in wealth obscures the light.
Its gilded cage, a cruel deceit,
Don't let its allure defeat
.
