What is Moksha All About!

In Chapter 5, Verse 28 of the Bhagavad Gita, the definition of a Liberated Sage is given as , “With the senses, mind, and intellect ever controlled, having liberation as their supreme goal, free from desire, fear, and anger, the sage is truly liberated forever.”

Lets decode Moksha precept of the Gita

Moksha, Mukti, Pramarth, Salvation, Freedom, Liberation, Bliss or Rest-In-Peace - means understanding your true, eternal Self and breaking free from the cycle of birth and death. It means recognizing that we are souls living in bodies - knowing your soul, self-knowledge or soul-realization is liberation. It is living with steady belief that the soul is never born and never dies - It is unborn, timeless, always present, and ancient.

Moksha is not 'escaping action and the world' but 'acting selflessly or freely while living in the world' - it is doing things without attachment. It is a latent or dormant natural urge in every person. To awaken, foster or manifest it, do selfless service, always help others and let it go. Stay selfless at all times to live a spiritual life.

Salvation means understanding what is real here and now. We don't become something new; we are already what we are right now - It is simply existing with pure awareness. When all worldly desires and wants fade away, your pure awareness – your embodied soul, dissolves into eternal universal awareness or eternal supreme soul.

When all transient worldly conflicts or dualities arising from desires and cravings stops, leaving only endless peace, that is moksha. When the mind is active - the world exists, but when the mind is quiet, acting from pure awareness - freedom comes.

Moksha is not separate from life. It's living without limits and being free from conditions – living an unconditional and field-free life. Paramarth is living in the world but not controlled by it, but living with purpose to connect with cosmic reality and merge into it completely.

With the mind—the world is there, but with no mind or doing things in light of pure awareness manifests freedom,. Moksha is not beyond life. It's living without conditions and being field-free. Paramarth is living in world but not of of, but for a purposeful life for union with cosmic reality and dissolution in it once for all
