ABC of Blended Learning: Delimiting Physical Presence of Teachers and Students for Learning

It is the learning model that combines both formal classroom instruction and online course delivery techniques for prescribed or any given closed content.


It is being held that a right blending of multimedia and instructional material designing is capable of enriching learning experience which is recorded digitally in a planned way.

Post-COVID lockdown period is going to see upsurge of blended learning courses by existing schools and sale by on-line courses by knowledge industry. Social and physical distancing in education via digital media are going to be new norms.


However, the schools need to become blended learning literates and develop such courses and their delivery system which is very effective and efficient. The consultative and remedial teaching face-to-face contact would be maximum of one-on-five in a classroom.

B: Build Learning Community of students who study through electronic and online media as well as face-to-face instruction teaching

D: Develop the learning material with articulated objectives and delivery flexibility by incorporating formative on-line assessment remedial digital lessons

C: Constant possibility of updating learning material with increased competence of instructor and feedback from learners

E: Engagement with the course material and content becomes possible anytime and anywhere on any device including a smart phone
