The situation in which workers are being laid off and pre-maturely retired may result into loss adequate work in the villages and farming sector. It has become an explosive situation in the country.
Youth find their future bleak and have started the 'thali bajao andolan'. In many cities the agitation has started and reported in the social media as shown in the inset collage from the facebook posts.
It is being said that crores of people have pushed into extreme poverty due to COVID pandemic crisis, economic crisis, greedonomics-based privatization, exogenous calamities, social isolation, rural-urban digital inequity and badly managed civic and education systems.
It is being speculated that societal conflicts, violence, looting, plundering, disorder, etc., may become rampant if situation does not improve in the next three months.
