Celebrating the World Photography Day with low angle shots in park

Today is the World Photography Day (August 19) and for a change, I tried the low angle photography today by visiting the small park in front of my house in Jaipur.

It is quite revealing that the low angle photography provide more room for creativity and experimentation. Such photos are taken at very low angles or with the camera placed almost at the base of the subject being photographed.

In low angle photography, the foreground objects appear very large and exaggerated while the ones in the background seem smaller to give interesting results.

EXHIBIT: COLLAGE OF LOW ANGLE CLICKS

It is to be borne in mind that taking low angle photos takes patience to get the composition right with an element of creativity in mind.

To compose a picture well and get your camera settings right, a simpler option is getting a camera with a flip-out view screen or improvised it by attaching a horizontal mirror at the base of the screen.

If the options ans lens attachments are available, low angle photographs can made more interesting. Using a wide angle lens has a lot of benefits because you get more room to focus and crop in post processing if you must.

Similarly, the fish eye lenses can also produce interesting images for photographing tall objects. Also, zoom lenses are great for experimenting at times.

At times, by focusing the lens at a bright sky, the foreground objects will appear dark, so the outdoor low-angle photogarphy may be early morning or evening time.
