Children are divine gift: Protect their childhood by providing violence-free learning environment

Every child is a divine gift with innate potential to discover, think and learn to be brought up and educated in a violence-free or caring social environment, stated Ramesh Thanavi, Chairperson, Rajasthan Adult Education Society in his inaugural address at Conclave-2019 of Centre for Unfolding Learning Potential NGO held on December 29 in 2019.

Create a non-violent learning society

Founded on

Equity, inclusion and humanization.

Child is divine gift

Keen to discover and relate

Both -

Within and without.

That is -

The childhood identity

To be protected and nurtured.

Schools have become

Aggressive marketers of education

As a commodity

And have turned children

Into consumers

Of sterile information

Robbing childhood

Killing thinking

Deadening sensitivities

Create a school

That is caring

That fosters and nurtures learning

That protects childhood

That makes child loving

That links life-n-learning
