The status-quo disruptive poetry consists of blank or free verse with observations of the bad and the ugly within a system continuum to challenge the present reality. In disruptive poetry, often written as free verse, there is no rhyming, but there is some rhythm for recital.
To write such a poem, some keywords related to a selected theme or topic are identified as skeleton of the poem to flesh it with descriptive language having line breaks to provide an overall tone and rhythm.
While the rhythm within the lines is provided by the language art elements such as alliteration, anaphora, allusion, etc.
Current education system: A short status-quo disruptive poem
Traditional education /
conventional education /
institutionalized-routinized education /
through conditioning, controls, conformity, competitions /
through gimmicks of reward-n-punishment, pass-n-fail, ranking-n-screening /
through imposed discipline, mechanical routines, rote learning /
through similarity, uniformity, externalization, standardization /
turns education into a commodity as instructional packages /
turns institution into knowledge industry /
turns learners into dependent consumers
looking for a life /
of comforts-n-conveniences /
of power-n-position /
of money-n-materials/
as societal parasites /
as thoughtless brutes/
