Design Thinking: A Short Note and Couplets
A short note
Design thinking is a cognitive framework centered around human contextual needs, characterized by an iterative approach to problem-solving that seeks to develop solutions that are desirable, feasible, and viable.
This methodology fosters innovation by emphasizing a profound understanding of user needs rather than relying on assumptions. It encompasses five essential phases: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test.
This innovative process offers a systematic way to generate fresh, impactful ideas, quickly bringing concepts to life by collecting feedback from real-world experiences. Its core principle revolves around "learning by doing," focusing on prototyping based on user needs and continuous improvement.
Design Thinking Couplets
True design thinker, full of grace,
Folks' needs set the problem's base.
With make-test-try rounds so neat,
Solutions blossomed, oh so sweet.
A user-wise designer, so keen,
A process brilliant, clear, and clean.
Empathize first, feel their plight,
Ideate, proto, then test with all might.
Innovative minds, open wide and free,
Design's where new ideas decree.
"Learn by doing," was their creed,
Chasing pain points, planting a seed.
