In the night sky, the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn is happening with the two planets, Jupiter and Mercury, being visible about a 10th of a degree apart.

Since, this year, conjunction is taking place during Christmas festival season, Christians are calling the conjunction as the “Christmas Star” or the “Star of Bethlehem.”

According to astronomers, two biggest planets of solar system – Jupiter and Saturn – will be quite close to each other on December 21 as if mingle together to look like one shining object.

The two planet will be separated by only 0.1 degree and visible in the western twilight sky.
