According to Kishore, the Sindhis believe that the focus of Lal Loi should be on getting rid of old belongings and cleansing the mind in readiness of the festival of Tirmoor which is observed the day after Lal Loi by all Sindhis. It may be added that on the evening of the festival the Lal Loi bonfire is lit by wood pieces contributed the the community members. Some people and specially children and women dance around the fire. Also, coconuts are offered to the fire and 'Sesa' sweet is distributed late night on the conclusion of the festivities around the bonfire.
