Emphasise feminist pedagogical practicse for gender parity and equity in STEM education

It is being felt that the participation of women in Science and Technology education has been and is still is marred gender disparity and inequity worldwide. The key critical concepts in feminist theory, which have a few takers. are sex steriotypes, race, discrimination, biases, equity, difference, diversity and choice. There are systems and structures in place that work against individuals based on these qualities and against equality and equity.
Of late, education sector at every level has experienced rapid growth in accessibility and participation. But, gender equity in STEM areas lacks the feminist pedagogy in the curricula and their translation, which is seen as critical to gender equity in the classrooms.
ABCs of feminist pedagogy is as follows
A: Approaches to theory and teaching practices that address the issues of ways of learning typical of race, class, gender, sexuality, ability that intersect and contribute to patriarchal-masculine structures of knowledge and practices shaped by competitive-performative nature of the system which continue to be pro-male and masculinised
B: Basis the feminization of education through cooperative-collaborative learning process which address the diversity and differences among the learners through whole brain education with equal emphasis on right-hemispheric potential of learning as the currently dominant left-hemispheric education centred on linear-logical thinking and competition
C: Choices are be matched with differences or diversity cased of social and gender inequities by the dominant groups
D: Disruptive education that meets the challenges of diversity of personal experience and choices across sex, gender, race, and class by traditional, stereotyped and conventional pedagogical views based on competition, talentism or giftedness, mainstreaming ploys, similarity, uniformity and sheer enrollment drives
