World famous professional football player Diego Armando Maradona (Born: 30 October 1960), regarded as 'the greatest players of all time' passed away on November 25, 2020 in Tigre town of Argentina at 60.
It has been reported that of late he was suffering from psychological disorders and he was to a hospital in La Plata early this month for emergency brain surgery which was said be successful. However, on the 25th November he had a fatal heart attack.
He was deemed as footballing God by his fans. Another noted footballer Lionel Messi had once said, 'Even if I played for a million years, I’d never come close to Maradona. Not that I’d want to anyway. He’s the greatest there’s ever been."
President of Argentina Alberto Fernández announced three days of national mourning on the death of Maradona.
Mourning the death, the Argentine Football Association stated that they were in deepest sorrow for the death of our legend and he would always be in their hearts.
