Fit-in criss-cross puzzle has many cognitive and academic advantages


A teacher at the middle school level can create and administer the fit-in criss-cross puzzles on the on-going lessons to make children acquire the following learning outcomes.

At the Plenum School in Himachal Pradesh, in an exercise of solving a criss-cross puzzle on the chapter of ‘light’ was created for grade eight students and the they were tested on cognitive functions’ proficiency ans strategic thinking. The clues were given in the form of a few letters of the terminology and vocabulary.
