Getting hang of glitch digital art with smartphone camera & inshot options with Kishore's artwork

Glitch art, as a part of visual art, is artwork practice by using digital modifications for aesthetic purposes either by manipulating digital data or modifying it. Here, the word glitch stands for unexpected result of a manipulation of malfunction in digital artifacts.

The glitch art is created by visual glitches, either in a still or a moving image randomly. It happens through data manipulation or data-bending processes such as misalignment and distortions.

The beginners in digital art often use 'distortion' for glitching to create new kinds and different types of imagery. The simplest glitches can be produced by manipulation of 'hue' and cartoon' options in camera editing processes.

The InShot software which is available as an app in my smartphones can provide the many digital manipulations such as distortions (swirl, wave, fish eye, mirror options, scan h/v), glitch (noise, RGB, convex, ghost, TV), style ( pixlate, mosaic, triangle), etc., to begin with. This can be done with mobilography using a smartphone camera.

The inset collage gives the examples drawn from the digital artwork of Dr Lalit Kishore including the ones recognized by the Art House.
