Guidelines for compositional photography with smart phone camera

With smartphone cameras, mobile devices and the editing apps. one can create high-quality pictures and edit them to further enhance their quality. However, one has to mos to move away from the point-and-shoot habit pointing and shooting.

Even mobile cameras have gridlines so as to help you to balance your shots by practicing the 'rule of thirds' to compose the subject image into thirds, both horizontally and vertically.

-Launch camera app and go to 'Setting' option
-Scroll down and switch the 'grid lines' option to 'on' position
-Place the subject as per the rule-of-one-thirds
-Set your camera's focus by tapping the screen 
-Tap the shoot or click button

If the background the sky or a water body, then two-thirds of the photo should be negative space for the subject stand out.

For editing, one can use filters and apps to make the subject even more vivid. Further, to finalise the picture you can crop to adjust the subject position correctly followed by choices for brightness, contrast, and saturation.
